We discovered that video and motion-based Pinterest campaigns were highly effective, prompting me to develop a streamlined system for scalable Motion Graphic Pins. Using Illustrator design assets, I created an After Effects template designed for easy integration with various room shots.
Within After Effects, I animated elements to create a distinct visual style, then rendered the background using an alpha channel layer. This approach allowed me to produce pre-keyed video assets, maintaining a clean and adaptable workflow.
By supplying these assets to our Pinterest designer, they could efficiently swap in different room shots without requiring After Effects expertise. This system drastically improved workflow efficiency, enabling a high-volume output of motion-based Pinterest ads.
I used Photoshop’s Generative Fill to convert square brand assets into tall, vertical compositions, then applied Immersity.ai to simulate cinematic Y-axis motion, bringing static interiors to life with depth and subtle movement.
Each video incorporates masked title overlays for designer names and branding, maintaining polish across all assets. This is a newly launched initiative aimed at building organic traction and; part of a larger strategy I’m developing for cost-efficient, network-based growth.
